Nurse Case Management
Nurse Case Management has become one of the most valuable tools in the workers’ compensation insurance arena over the past several decades. In 2006, Marlene LeGrande, RN, CCM, joined Hospitality Comp as their full time Registered Nurse Case Manager.
Marlene’s role is many faceted. She works directly with our adjusters helping monitor medical reports, provide information and input on diagnoses and implement medical treatment plans. Marlene often is involved in meeting directly with an injured worker and their treatment providers, no matter where they are located within Oklahoma. She believes strongly in the need for individuals to understand their medical condition, their treatment plan and the importance of their full participation in their recovery. Marlene becomes the contact person helping ensure all tools necessary to reach their maximum state of wellness have been provided. By working directly with physicians, she can help coordinate needs closer to an individual’s home, arrange for medical equipment, provide pharmacy cards, and set up therapies. No matter how large or small, Marlene gets their needs met and provides a personal touch.
