Chief Operating Officer for the Oklahoma Restaurant Group Self Insurance Association, d/b/a Hospitality Comp. He was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In 1981 he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma. In 1984 he completed his Juris Doctorate at Oklahoma City University. From 1985 to 1998 he was engaged in the private practice of law, concentrating in complex civil litigation. In 1998 Governor Frank Keating appointed him to a six-year term on the Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation Court. In November, 2006 he assumed his current position with Hospitality Comp. His duties include oversight of the company’s operations in claims, underwriting, loss prevention, risk management and human resources. He frequently lectures on matters pertaining to workers’ compensation and loss prevention. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Self Insurers Association and the Oklahoma Safety Council. He is active with the Boy Scouts of America and Teen Empower, Inc. He and his wife, Hilary, live in Oklahoma City where they stay busy with the activities of their four children.
